All colors are available in 37 ml. tubes. Whites are also available in an economical 150 ml. tube.
Titanium White -Titanium White is the most opaque white with the heaviest tinting strength. It is most appropriate for direct painting or for quickly lightening colors. Ideal for applications where great opacity is needed.
Soft Titanium White -Non-yellowing and opaque. The pigment is ground in poppy-seed and sunflower oil which extends the dry time and gives the paint a soft-bodied, easy to manage feel. It is perfect for artists who don't intend to do a lot of mixing with white. Ideal when painting wet on wet.
Superba White - Grumbacher's exclusive Superba White is a non-yellowing Titanium White ground in poppy-seed oil. A smooth, buttery, heavy-bodied white, Superba is unaffected by exposure to light, freely intermixable with other colors, and offers enhanced opacity and tinting strength.
Zinc White - A permanent, brilliant semi-transparent Snow White with an excellent tinting strength and working properties. It makes the cleanest tints of all of the oil painting Whites. However, because it dries to a relatively brittle paint film by itself, it is recommended that its use be restricted to making tints.
