Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Permanent Blue (Ultramarine), is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Permanent Blue (Ultramarine) is the lightest of the five Ultramarines Grumbacher offers in Pre-tested Oil Colors. This oil paint's color has a lightfast, transparent mid-range Blue masstone with a Greenish undertone that has no trace of Red. When mixed with Cadmium Barium Yellow Pale, or Zinc Yellow Hue, Permanent Blue (Ultramarine) produces brilliant Kelly, or the so-called Irish Greens. Formulated from Complex Silicate of Sodium and Aluminum with Sulfur (PB29).
