Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Raw Sienna, is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Raw Sienna is a traditional, semi-transparent Dark Yellow-Tan Earth Color that is similar to, but darker than, Yellow Ochre in masstone. This oil paint contains a high tinting strength. Although mined in the U.S.A., Grumbacher Raw Sienna is an exact match of the masstone, undertone, and mixing qualities of the unavailable Italian Siennas of yesteryear. Formulated from Iron Oxide (PBr7).
