Grumbacher Pre-tested Professional Oil Paint, Green Earth Hue (Terre Verte), is made with pure pigments milled in alkali-refined linseed oil. Green Earth Hue (Terre Verte) is a classic, semi-transparent, muted Green Earth Color with a slight Bluish undertone and weak tinting strength. This oil paint is originally imported from Italy, but not available since the late 1930's, Pre-tested Green Earth is a duplicate of the masstone, undertones, and mixing properties of the original pigment. Traditionally, used for Verdaccio. Formulated from Iron Oxide containing Manganese (Pbr7), Synthetic Hydrated Iron Oxide (PY 42), Synthetic Black Iron Oxide (Pbk11) and Hydrous Chromium Sesquioxide (PG 18).
