Amaco No. 25 White Art Clay is ideal for classroom use and all areas of ceramics. Suitable for wheel throwing, hand building and modeling, it offers excellent plasticity so large pieces are easy to throw. Resists crazing.

Bisque fire to Cone 04 (1971ºF, 1077ºC). The recommended glaze firing is Cone 05 (1911ºF), but this clay can be fired as high as Cone 3 (2138ºF) without distortion. At Cone 04, shrinkage is 6.3% and absorption is 13.7%. This clay is talc-free.

A 50 lb. box includes two 25 lb. blocks of clay, each in a polyethylene storage bags, so feel free to use the amount required and store the rest for future use. Clay in moist form presents no hazard.
