Using the Logan Picture Framing Sander
A brief demonstration on how to properly use the Logan picture framing sander. For those that can't turn up your speakers, here is a transcription:
With the other hand rotate the disc in the direction of the molding, which is downward towards the top of the molding. Spinning in the wrong direction could result in splintering of the finished side of the molding. Rotate the disc four to six times. Adjust the pressure against the disc while rotating. Start with light pressure until the disc is spinning. Then increase the pressure for easier sanding. Check the sanded surface of the molding to see if it is smooth. If it's not smooth, continue sanding. It's vital that both sides of the molding are the same length in order to achieve a frame that is square with seamless corners.
