Welcome to Cheap Joe's Test Studio! Today I want to show you how I cut watercolor paper. It sounds so simple and so easy, but I hear people all the time tell me "I can't cut my paper straight. How do you get a half sheet or a quarter sheet?" I'm going to show you today.
So now I have my sheet of paper--this particular piece is Kilimanjaro 140 lb. cold pressed paper. You can also do 300 lb. just as easily with the paper cutter, and I'm going to show you that in just a second.
You take the paper and very carefully line up the edges so that you get a nice square. Crease it right there, take your Cheap Joe's Hand Held Paper Cutter, and pulling up this way where your cut is, just like that, you just simply go straight across. Wow, that is so easy!
Now I have two half sheets of paper. I'm going to fold once again in the same way. Do the same thing, put your paper cutter in there just like opening up an envelope and now I have quarter sheets of paper. Isn't that easy?
I want to show you how easy the 300 lb. paper is to cut because it is the most difficult to get into nice even pieces without having a mess. I have already folded it, 300 lb. Kilimanjaro, simply put your paper cutter in there the same way--just like an envelope--and pull up and pull across and there you have it. It is so easy to do with the Cheap Joe's Hand Held Paper Cutter that is going to last you a long, long time. A good product to have.
