Yasutomo Pipe Handle Hake Brushes are made with a generous blend of natural sheep hair and synthetic hair with a hand-split broad, flat, bamboo handle. The handles are hand-stitched into a one-piece handle that can be separated into smaller brushes.
These thick topped brushes are made to provide a firm touch and have a large water holding capacity. These hake brushes are ideal for applying even watercolor washes over large areas, applying sizing and glue, and are well suited for applying slips and glazes in ceramic art. The short handle provides a steady grip and increases control. Full brush length with handle measures 5-5/8".
