Winsor & Newton Stand Linseed Oil is a pale viscous oil that slows drying while imparting a tough, smooth enamel finish with no brush marks. This linseed oil is ideal for glazing and fine detail if mixed with a solvent. Available in 75 ml., 250 ml., and 500 ml. bottles.

Ideal for preventing over-thinning, Winsor & Newton's Linseed Oils are used to modify consistency, gloss and drying times.
Winsor & Newton uses 100% recycled plastic in their ergonomically designed bottles. Due to using recycled plastic, the material will sometimes have a tint to it, either slightly green or slightly yellow. Rest assured, the medium inside will be the normal color.
Linseed Stand Oil - Winsor & Newton Stand Linseed Oil is ideal for glazing, adding transparency and high gloss, and can be used as an alternative for Refined Linseed Oil, due to its pale yellow color and excellent leveling. Linseed Stand Oil makes oil colors "fatter" and provides a very flexible film. Linseed Stand Oil slows drying while leaving a smooth, tough enamel finish with no brush marks and has a low tendency to yellow. Mix just enough medium with paint to get smooth texture and glazing when used as a solvent. After use, wipe the neck of the bottle to ensure the safety cap remains secure.
