Based on binders used in oil color, Winsor & Newton's Mediums are used to alter the characteristics of oil color, increase gloss, improve flow, and add texture.
Winsor & Newton uses 100% recycled plastic in their ergonomically designed bottles. Due to using recycled plastic, the material will sometimes have a tint to it, either slightly green or slightly yellow. Rest assured, the medium inside will be the normal color.
Artists' Painting Medium - Winsor & Newton Artists' Oil Painting Medium is a gloss medium which slows drying and is ideal for fine detail work, glazing and smoothly blended areas with no brush marks. Resistant to yellowing, Artists' Painting Medium reduces consistency, improves flow, enriches dull patches and is suitable for oiling out.
