Viviva Colorsheets are ingenious portable watercolor sets made as small booklets featuring super-saturated layers of pigment deposited on the paper. | Company Info: | Viviva Colorsheets are watercolors reimagined for the modern day schedule. They're fun, crazy vibrant, and ridiculously convenient. They're sure to get creating more! Viviva was created in India by brothers Rohan and Aditya as a way to bring painting back into their busy lives. At the time, Aditya was in med school and felt profoundly the lack of creativity in his life. "It felt like it almost sapped out the "me" in me. Creating is my jam. I used to paint ever since I was a kid. It wasn't pretty, and it wasn't great. But it was mine. It had meaning for me in ways I cannot describe. We all paint as kids. And then somewhere along the way, just stop... why?" So he created watercolor "pans" on paper inspired by a medical technique that uses a similar process, and Viviva Colorsheets were born. They named them after their grandmother - her initials are Vi Vi Va - who inspired them to take the plunge. They're watercolors, yes, but unlike anything you've seen before. They are designed with just one purpose in mind: to get you creating again. It's a simple principle. Make something convenient, like REALLY convenient, and chances are you'd do it a lot more. |
