It has the body of a soft modeling paste that holds its peaks and valleys, so it's perfect for spreading with a palette knife through stencils to create colorful dimensional designs. It can also be used with paint brushes, for finger painting, and much more.

The iridescent Stencil Butter colors blend beautifully with each other to create custom hues. You can even mix dry pigment and metallic powders into the Stencil Butter to create additional unique color tones. Stencil Butters are archival with very good lightfastness.

Suitable for use on watercolor paper, mixed media boards, canvas, wood, and more. Use it on porous surfaces that won't be exposed to moisture. Available in easy to use 2 oz. jars. Dries in 15-30 minutes depending on how thickly it's applied. Cleans up easily with water. Be sure to rinse your tools immediately after use.
