Studio Designs Alcove Modern Pocket Desk

The Alcove Desk by Studio Designs brings together mid-century inspired design with a rear storage compartment and a long split-drawer. This studio table is perfect for the artist who uses electronic devices in their process, as well as any artist who likes a clean, organized workspace with an eye to form, not just function.

The desk top measures 45-1/4" x 21-1/2" and is made from MDF available in 2 finishes, Cement and Chestnut. The white legs are powder-coated steel and lift the desk to a height of 30-1/4". Four swivel floor levelers add stability.

Use the rear compartment to store not only long items such as paper rolls and rulers, but also to corral the cords for your iPad, projector, or lightpad. Holes in the back and top of the soft-close compartment give access to cords without cluttering your workspace. The rear compartment runs the full width of the desk and is 5" deep and 3" high. The extra-wide split-drawer allows you to organize your art supplies by providing one 13-3/4" wide and one 24-3/5" wide drawer. Both drawers are 12-3/4" deep and 2" high.
