Painting water can be challenging due to its unique, unpredictable effects on objects in and around it. From above and below its surface, water creates patterns and colors that change within seconds. In this workshop we will be practicing techniques for painting water and its effects on the human figure.
We will utilize two surfaces, watercolor paper and Ampersand Aquabord. We will explore the ways that light and color are reflected and refracted on the water's surface and how it travels through the water to play on the figure below the surface.
- Monday May 5, Tuesday May 6, Wednesday May 7, Thursday May 8, 9:00am - 4:00pm EST, Friday May 9, 9:00am - 1:00pm EST
