Beautifully made in the Netherlands, these uniquely engineered hand-operated lino presses perfectly combine superior craftsmanship and performance at a price that makes them accessible. Simple and easy to use, this tool will suit any level of printmaker, especially in a home studio or small space. Ideal for linoleum printing, woodcut printing, paper stamping, fabric printing, and flower pressing.
Each Woodzilla press is precisely-manufactured from heavy-duty powder-coated steel with 36 mm. thick press plates made from lacquered wood. They're designed to apply uniform pressure without undue work or stress for the artist while still guaranteeing a beautifully-printed result at every reveal. They're expertly balanced to allow for great pressure to be applied without risk of tipping the press. Woodzilla Lino Presses easily mount to a table or workbench with additional stability and scratch resistance offered by the anti-skid leather shoes at the base of each press. If you're short on space, the press can be stored on its side for compact storage. All presses come with a felt blanket.
A5 Press - This press is designed for print sizes up to 5-7/8" x 8-1/4". It's a great format for folded cards, notebooks, leaflets, zines, and small flyers.
A4 Press - This press is designed for print sizes up to 8-1/4" x 11-3/4". A standard US letter size, it's a common size great for a range of printmaking projects.
A3 Press - This press is designed for print sizes up to 11-3/4" x 16-1/2". This US tabloid or ledger size is great for artwork and posters.
A3 Wide Base Press - Designed for print sizes up to 11-3/4" x 16-1/2" and with a wide base, this press is ideally-suited for textile printing. The wider frame with an enlarged lower plate is perfect for fabric printing, where excess fabric can be placed at the sides.
