Schmincke Aqua Bronze pigments are water-mixable for use with watercolor and gouache paintings to add shine, luster, and a metallic finish. Each Aqua Bronze color is based on natural metal pigments and contains bronze or aluminum pigments. Each color is lightfast, more opaque, and more brilliant than other metallic effect colors made of pearl luster pigments.

For use, mix Aqua Bronze pigments with a little bit of water on your palette before painting on the surface. The amount of water added influences the color's opacity, adhesion, and gloss. When dry, Aqua Bronze is smudge-resistant but is not water-resistant. For indoor use only.

Aqua Bronze has a glossy metal effect on watercolor paper and less absorbent surfaces like cardboard, painting board, and canvas. Not suitable for use on gypsum, metal, or plastic.
