Each Velvetouch brush contains a blend of NextGen synthetic filaments unique to each brush shape. NextGen synthetic filament has years of work behind its design, thanks to fifth-generation brush maker Naohide Takamoto, the grandson of the inventor of Taklon bristles. The multiple-filament, luxury synthetic blend in each brush is ideal for excellent color-holding capacity and precision edges with great spring and shape retention.

The versatile Velvetouch brushes feature a soft-finish wood handle made for comfort and longevity. Each brush has a nickel-plated brass ferrule and short handles, ideal for various paints, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache.
