The Portable Painter is a compact travel watercolor palette that will change the way you think about painting on the go. Designed by a watercolorist, this palette is full of details artists will appreciate. About the size of a smartphone, this travel palette fits easily into a purse or pocket yet has 2 generous water containers with built-in brush holders, 3 large and 10 smaller mixing wells, and 12 empty half-pans ready to fill with your own favorite colors. A double-sided synthetic folding travel round brush, and a silicone band for holding pens or brushes round out this ingenious design.
It’s great on a tabletop, but on uneven surfaces the built-in water containers excel as a sturdy pedestal base. Perhaps most surprisingly it can even balance on a knee, leaving your hands completely free to hold both paper and brush! It's a must have for urban sketchers, plein air painters, and traveling artists.
