PanPastel Colors are professional grade soft pastel colors packed in a unique pan format (cake-like) so that they can be mixed and applied like paint. All PanPastel Colors are made using a unique manufacturing process requiring minimal binder and fillers, resulting in rich, ultra soft, and low dust formulations. Only professional artists' grade pigments are used to produce the most concentrated colors possible. The colors have excellent lightfastness and are fully erasable.

Each 9 ml. pan contains 40% more material than the average pastel stick, and yields approximately 4-5 times more coverage than sticks on average. PanPastel Colors are fully compatible with pastel sticks, pencils, markers, and other artist's colors and mediums. They're also ideal for mixed media techniques and can be applied to most art and craft surfaces, from delicate handmade papers to toothy pastel surfaces. Compatible with conventional spray fixatives. PanPastels produce very little dust for a cleaner working environment.

PanPastel colors offer unique packaging which protects the colors, keeping them separate and clean and making them perfect for both studio work and for traveling and plein air work. Each set includes a selection of Sofft Tools for applying and manipulating the pigment. The pans and storage jars (for Sofft Tools) interlock securely together making it easy to store and organize minimizing the amount of storage space required.
