MaimeriBlu Artist Watercolors and Sets

Noted Italian impressionist painter, Gianni Maimeri, searching to satisfy his own hankering for artistic excellence in paint, founded Maimeri in 1923. Gianni and his brother Carlo, an industrial chemist, created a company that is much more than just a manufacturer of "paints", but a workshop of pure pigments and powerful sensations. The search for perfection and purity is the mission that still today intensely distinguishes this dedicated company.

In order to ensure that the product is not adulterated with additives or artificial processes which would alter its genuine quality, Maimeri still performs a number of stages in preparation of individual pans by traditional manual methods. Thus the purity of formula and composition that is the true quality of these watercolors is preserved. In designing the collection of colors, preference was given to the pigments offering the greatest transparency, without prejudice, attempting to achieve top color quality and lightfastness in the simplest possible way.

Colors are pure, consisting of a single pigment bound with authentic top quality gum-arabic Kordofan, in the Sudan region and distilled water.
