Lascaux Archival Spray Varnish - UV Protect 3, Semi Matte

Lascaux UV Protect is an easy-to-apply, archival spray varnish with ultraviolet protection and contains no chlorofluorocarbons. The UV protection is water-resistant and is created from a pure acrylic polymer containing a highly effective UV absorber. Also it enhances the lightfastness of the underlying layers and increases with each additional layer of varnish that is applied. Other features include good adhesion, abrasion resistance and hardness.

Artwork treated with Lascaux UV Protect can be painted over after drying and the varnish layer may be removed or cleaned using solvents. Please note that a final sealing of UV protect increases color intensity and may result in a slight change in color tone.

Semi-Matte - Lascaux UV Protect 3 creates a semi-matte protective film and is ideal for all Lascaux color ranges, other brands of acrylics, oils, temperas, pastel paintings, drawings, watercolors, and inkjet prints on virtually all papers and other supports.
