Kingart's Original Gold series synthetic brushes are made from the finest-quality Golden Taklon filaments to create brush heads that are remarkably durable, easy to care for and versatile (they work equally well with watercolor, acrylic, and oil paint). Each brush is expertly crafted to mimic the virtues of natural hair, including exceptional paint-holding capacity, at a reduced cost. Each brush holds its shape well and consists of filaments that are dyed and baked to increase softness and absorption.

The filaments of each brush are bound together with nickel-plated brass ferrules and crimped at the bottom to ensure an extra-secure bond to the handle. Each handle is ergonomically crafted to reduce muscle fatigue and are carefully balanced to provide maximum control. Kingart brushes are designed with the artist in mind and are manufactured to survive years of steady use.

Angle Shader, Series 9400 - Angular Shaders have bristles that are short at one end of the flat ferrule, and longer at the opposite end creating a precise angle. They're useful for precise strokes against shape edges, and for painting lines and curves with thicker or heavier color.

Aqua Wash, Series 9550A - Wash brushes hold lots of water and color and are great for applying large amounts of color in shading, highlighting, background painting and more! Also useful for wetting the surface, and for absorbing excess media. These bristles have great snap and will form right back to their original shape.

Fan Blender, Series 9200 - Use dry or with only the tips loaded to create textured grasses, shrubbery, and trees. Also useful for smoothing brush stroke marks or softening the edges of strokes when blending.

Flat Rake, Series 9120 - Flat Comb brushes can create special effects such as fur, hair, grasses, foliage, and more. These brushes have a flat square shape with staggered length filaments making the tip of the brush more of a rake.

Round Wash, Series 9700 - Round Wash brushes have extremely full bellies that can hold copious amounts of water and color. Each bristle tapers to a precise, pointed tip. Great for both acrylic and watercolor painting, these huge brushes are a dream!

Max Round, Series 9020 - Similar to a regular Round, the Max Round brush has a slightly fuller belly for holding large amounts of water and pigment without reloading, which allows the fluids to flow smoothly and consistently.

Miracle Wedge, Series 9900 - The Miracle Wedge is a specialty brush that's ideal for tole and decorative painting. This three-sided brush, can be triple-loaded with different colors for use when painting ribbon, leaves, borders, or flower buds. Simply rotate which side of the brush you put pressure on to create turned effects.

One Stroke, Series 9100 - One Strokes are known for their large color carrying capacity, useful for painting letters or long passages in a single stroke. These brushes come with medium to long length bristles with a sharp, square edge and flat ferrule.

Round, Series 9000 - Use round brushes for thick to thin strokes made by variation of pressure. Ideal for detail work or filling large areas, depending on the brush size used and pressure applied. Shaping of the point coming from the centermost hairs makes it ideally suited for stroke work.

Sky Wash, Series 9750 - These beautiful Sky Wash brushes form a wide, flat base and come to a slightly tapered square edge. Each brush comes with a short, black and gold handle for maximum control when laying down large amounts of color and water. Especially ideal for watercolor applications.

Spotter, Series 9650 - Use Spotters for detail work such as small lines, dots, tiny scrolls, and more. They are also perfect for artists who paint miniatures. The bristles are short and taper to a fine point; a very valuable brush for when details matter!
