Joe's Prime Cradled Painting Panels are crafted from 100% artist grade poplar wood and accept all acrylic gessos and oil priming. These wooden panels are cradled with a solid pine wood frame which eliminates warping and stretching. Their attractive unfinished state is beautiful with pyrography and clear gessos, as well as encaustics. The construction is so finely finished on the reverse that they can be turned around and used as a shadow box.
Available in standard 3/4" depth and extra deep 2" profiles.
Cross Bracing - Sizes 24" x 36" and larger have cross braces on the back. See individual panels for cross bracing details.
