Just like the famed Mt. Mitchell, noted for being the highest point east of the Mississippi River, we've named this frame for its notable 4" wide face with high, ornate corners that is truly a museum quality frame. This solid wood ready-made frame is finished in a beautiful antique gold, and deserves your most majestic piece of art!

Use these to frame canvas or add a mat and glass (sold separately) for works on paper.

Rabbet Depth - The rabbet is the recess on the back inside edge of the frame, into which the artwork fits. To find a frame that works for you, measure the depth of your artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a rabbet depth that is, at least the same as that measured depth.
Note - Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork about a quarter inch all the way around, so your artwork will fit securely behind the frame's molding.
Style: Formal and Traditional Frames
Color: Antique Gold
Series: Mitchell
Material: Wood
Brand: Joe Miller
