Jacquard Paraffin Wax is derived from petroleum. It is relatively brittle and will flake when used alone for batik and therefore is commonly mixed with microcrystalline wax. Jacquard Paraffin Wax may also be used for cleaning brushes in encaustic. It comes in easy-to-measure pellets.
