La Perle des Encres, or "The Jewel of Inks", Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world, created in Paris in 1700. Herbin Standard Fountain Pen Inks are crafted from all natural dyes for a collection of smooth-flowing lightfast colors that perform well even on cheap papers without too much feathering or bleed-through. They're also beautiful when used with a brush as liquid watercolors. The water-based ink easily cleans out of your fountain pen. Comes in 30 ml. glass bottles with a handy built in pen stand.
Violette Pensee - Pensive Violet is the color of the flower of the same name. Since Napoleon, French pupils used a violet ink color because it was the least expensive color.
