Cobalt Violet Historic Hue - Cobalt Violet Historic Hue is a name used for several violet color cobalt pigments. Toxic, costly, and weak, historical cobalt violets were replaced by manganese violet and this acrylic is a blend of dioxazine purple with quinacridones and zinc white, recreating the subtle yet complex color not found in other modern paints.
