The 7 oz. cotton duck is double-primed with acid-free acrylic titanium gesso for oil or acrylic painting, making the finished canvas weight a hefty 12 oz. The canvas is discreetly stapled on the back, allowing you to paint on all four edges and hang it with or without a frame. The kiln-dried stretcher bars, sourced from sustainable forests, resist warping. Sizes over 24" x 36" include single or double bracing for added support.
