Fredrix Pro Series Belgian Linen Stretched Canvas

Belgian Linen is considered the ultimate surface for oil painting, especially portraiture, and is one of the most archival substrates. Fredrix Pro Series Belgian Linen pre-stretched canvases feature the finest 5-1/2 oz. pure Belgian linen, primed with acid-free acrylic Titanium gesso to a finished weight of 11 oz. They're one of Fredrix finest canvases yet, providing an outstanding painting experience.

The canvas is gallery-wrapped, or stapled onto the back of warp-resistant kiln-dried stretcher bars allowing you to paint on all four edges and hang with or without a frame. Extra canvas and folded corners allow for easy re-stretching if needed. Ideal for all oil, acrylic and alkyd paints.

Traditional 7/8" Profile - This traditional depth canvas fits easily into almost any frame, or paint the edges for a frameless display.

Deep 1-3/8" Gallery Profile - This deep profile canvas has a robust and sturdy presence that needs no frame for presentation.
