Made with upgraded ingredients, Fine-Tec Artist Mica Premium Watercolors add shimmer and shine to your painting, lettering, and graphic art. Fine-Tec colors have various effects, including pearlescent, iridescent, metallic, Flip-Flop, and neon colors. Artists can mix the water-soluble colors with other Fine-Tec paints and other paint media to create unique shades and accents. They adhere to various absorbent surfaces, including paper, wood, and stone.

The expertly developed premium formulation includes purified all-natural gum arabic and carefully selected raw materials, including ethically sourced raw mica or synthetic substrates. Select colors include precious metals, such as silver, or are glass-based. Along with premium ingredients, the formulation allows for a quick activation time. These sparkling watercolors were developed with artists and calligraphers to be suitable for brushes and nibs and are also ideal for use with a glass pen.

The iridescent colors appear light and nearly transparent on a light-colored background, and they shimmer depending on the point of view and incidence of light. The pearlescent paints show their luminance best on a dark surface.

Pans measure approximately 1-1/16" in diameter, are removable from the tin palette, and are replaceable. Each travel tin has mixing areas and space for a couple of short-handled brushes. Non-toxic.
