Verditer Blue - Verditer Blue is a true blue and is a historical pigment with a place on every palette. Begin with a dark application, a deep azure lake, and watch how this slightly granulating paint travels quickly in water. Verditer Blue will fade to the color of cornflowers and create surprising effects in a wash. Also this transparent unique blue will dilute to the palest baby blue.

This is a granulating color, meaning a grainy visual texture is created when the pigment particles settle and clump together rather than settling evenly on the painted surface. Granulation is more pronounced on textured papers.
