Gouache can be applied as mass tone straight from the tube to get rich, full-bodied solids with single brush strokes or can be tempered with water to create softer lines and hazy layers. Quinacridone Magenta - In mass tone, this is a rich, deep red-violet (cooler than Quinacridone Pink) and when mixed with white, it’s a vivid violet pink. Quinacridone Magenta is vibrant and mixes very cleanly. Like all Quinacridones, it’s an extremely lightfast, organic pigment.
