Ultramarine Blue - Ultramarine Blue is a somewhat warm mineral blue which is brilliant and deep in glazes, but in tints and tones it is cold and moody. Ultramarine is great for glazing and is lightfast with moderate tinting strength. Consider using Alizarin Permanent with Ultramarine Blue to mix violets.
