Createx Wicked Colors Airbrush Colors

Wicked Airbrush Colors are water-based multi-surface airbrush paints ideal for any interior or exterior paint project, from walls to canvas to cars. They're made with lightfast pigments and a durable acrylic resin that sprays well right out of the bottle with excellent coverage. They can also be thinned with Createx Color Reducers for greater transparency and use with smaller tips. All colors are completely intermixable with the entire line of Wicked colors and other Createx colors to allow you to achieve custom finishes.

Detail Colors - Detail Wicked Colors are transparent muted colors that are designed as a complement to Standard Colors. Sub-micron sized resin particles allow for atomization through fine detail airbrushes at low air pressure settings and exhibit the highest level of transparency of all the Wicked Colors. Dries to a flat, matte finish making it ideal for reproduction due to the non-glare surface. The colors in this series are closer to an artists' and illustrators' palette with primary colors, secondary colors, and earth tones.

Fluorescent Colors - These neon colors are not lightfast and are very translucent, so they're best applied over a color-keyed base of Wicked Opaque or AutoBorne Sealer. Fluorescent colors generally spray well out-of-the-bottle through a 0.5 mm and 0.35 mm tip size. For exterior use, apply over AutoBorne Sealer base.

Metallic Colors- Shimmering, metallic base colors are best applied over a white, black, or color-keyed Sealer Base. The underlying color can determine the final color, so try them over light or dark backgrounds. Metallic colors spray best through larger tip size airbrush nozzles. Ready to spray right out of the bottle or thin them with the 4011 reducer.

Opaque Colors - Made for coverage, opaque colors are made with a high pigment volume and refined clay to allow colors to cover quickly with a high chroma. Wicked Opaque Colors are made with a durable, acrylic-urethane resin that adheres well to difficult substrates such as plastic. Spray out-of-the-bottle with a 0.5 mm airbrush tip-size.

Pearl Colors - Shimmering, pearlescent base colors are semi-opaque and best applied over a white, black, or color-keyed Sealer Base. The underlying color can determine the final color, so try them over light or dark backgrounds. Pearl colors spray best through larger tip size airbrush nozzles. Ready to spray right out of the bottle or thin them with the 4011 reducer.

Standard Colors - Standard Wicked Colors offer higher chroma primaries for bright pops of color. They cover well right out of the bottle due to a high pigment volume but can be extended to make a more translucent color for layering. These transparent colors spray well out of the bottle and dry to a semi-gloss satin finish.
