Caran d'Ache Full Blender Bright Set

The Caran d'Ache Full Blender Bright is a colorless oil-wax medium for blending, dry mixing, and intensifying colored pencils. This single tool combines the mixing and unifying properties of a blender with a burnisher that consolidates and adds gloss. When applied over color pencils or watercolor pencils, the pigments become even more lightfast, and watercolor pencils become permanent.

The versatile Full Blender Bright is a unique medium and the ideal complement to Caran d'Ache color pencils, graphite, and wax pastels. As a blender, it softens pencil lines, mixes and unifies colors, and increases their intensity. As a hard yet gentle burnisher, it adds a gloss finish much like a painting. It can also be used as a fixative and to make areas of a drawing water-resistant.

This set includes one woodless and one wood-cased colorless blender stick. Since there is no case on the woodless stick, 100% of the material is available for use. Its hexagonal shape can be used as a block or sharpened, and it can be cut to a custom length or shape. The wood-cased blender has a fine but strong point that's ideal for detailed areas and control.
