Black Ink Nepalese Lokta Paper is an eco-friendly tree-free paper, derived from the lokta bush, also called the daphne bush. Growing around 6-9,000 feet up in the Himalayan region of Nepal, this bush completely regenerates in about 4 years, after being cut down to 6" from the ground. Lokta paper-making provides a reliable revenue stream for the village artisans of Nepal's rural and urban areas.
Natural Texture - This natural lokta paper features subtle fiber inclusions, adding handmade beauty to whatever you create with it. This acid-free paper provides a wonderful blank canvas for art applications such as block printing and screen-printing, as well as for inkjet and laser printing.
