Museum quality stretcher bars for the professional. The Best Pro-Bar System prevents bending and warping resulting from humidity and dryness. The combination of the finest kiln-dried wood and specially milled 3/32" aluminum create a strong and rigid support. Each bar selected must be free of knots and completely straight. Ideal for large scale painting.

All the bars are designed so that the canvas is always a full half inch from the stretcher bar to eliminate "ghost" impressions on the canvas. The rounded back edge reduces surface friction and allows for a smoother, tighter draw of the fabric for a snug, more even painting surface.

Note - Each Best Pro-Bar must be assembled with an Aluminum Corner L-Bracket inserts (sold separately). Optional Best Corner Keys allow tightening or loosening of the canvas with the turn of a nut.
Note - Best Stretcher Bars may be cut to any length. Best has made custom Stretcher Bar frames as large as 13' x 22'. Call our customer service department at 1-800-227-2788 for for quotes and test the limits.
