Inspired by the shape of traditional tailor's chalk, the ArtGraf Tailor Shape is a block of pressed pigment designed for drawing and painting. Extremely soft, richly pigmented, and water-soluble, Tailor Shape blocks allow you to produce a wide range of tones and light, dark, and opaque colors. It's an excellent tool for drawing and painting in the studio or while traveling. Their transparency is ideal for use with wash techniques, as well as over pen and ink.

Draw with the block's wide side, corner, or edge and activate the pigment on paper with a wet brush if desired, or use the block as a watercolor pan. Layer and mix on a palette. With this unique drawing and painting tool, your imagination is the limit! Each Tailor Shape block measures 1-3/4" x 2".
