American Journey Artists' Watercolor Stick offers artists the finest raw materials and high-quality, maximum-strength pigments available. This guarantees clean, strong colors and makes for a more professional painting.
Each watercolor stick is dipped in a single layer of water-soluble paraffin wax for protection during transit and to protect your hands while working. To remove this thin outer layer of wax, rub the stick surface on a scrap piece of paper, or wash the stick with warm water, similar to removing paraffin wax from an apple. The tip of the watercolor sticks are ready for use out of the box.
Sap Green - Sap Green is a bright mid-range green with a yellow undertone and may be warmed with hansa yellows or cooled with blues. Sap Green is similar to Olive Green and is a must for the landscape and seascape palettes with a masstone like dark, wet grass.
