Each watercolor stick is dipped in a single layer of water-soluble paraffin wax for protection during transit and to protect your hands while working. To remove this thin outer layer of wax, rub the stick surface on a scrap piece of paper, or wash the stick with warm water, similar to removing paraffin wax from an apple. The tip of the watercolor sticks are ready for use out of the box.

Prussian Blue - Prussian Blue is a deep blue color and sometimes has an interesting bronzing effect on surfaces. An alternative to genuine Ultramarine, Prussian Blue is a cool blue with more muted tint than Phthalo Blue.-ﾠThis versatile blue can create a large range of tints without mixing.
