Each watercolor stick is dipped in a single layer of water-soluble paraffin wax for protection during transit and to protect your hands while working. To remove this thin outer layer of wax, rub the stick surface on a scrap piece of paper, or wash the stick with warm water, similar to removing paraffin wax from an apple. The tip of the watercolor sticks are ready for use out of the box.

Halloween Orange - Halloween Orange is a modern high key color that has a pure hue and the same masstone (but more transparent) as Cadmium Orange. This orange remains brighter in its tint when mixed with white and when used thinly, a rich glowing glaze is created.-ﾠJoe suggests mixing Halloween Orange with Ivory Black to create a dark orange color or mix it with Cerulean Blue to create a green-gray color.
