American Journey Artists' Watercolor Stick - Andrew's Turquoise

Each watercolor stick is dipped in a single layer of water-soluble paraffin wax for protection during transit and to protect your hands while working. To remove this thin outer layer of wax, rub the stick surface on a scrap piece of paper, or wash the stick with warm water, similar to removing paraffin wax from an apple. The tip of the watercolor sticks are ready for use out of the box.

Andrew's Turquoise - This particular watercolor paint is named after Joe's good friend, watercolorist Don Andrews. Don has a wonderfully unique way of using color in his paintings. A perfect marriage of blue and green, Andrew's Turquoise is excellent for painting tropical water scenes.
