American Journey Acrylic Mediums are high quality mediums that add more body to your acrylics and enables impasto techniques, extends color volume or adds transparency. These acrylic mediums hold peaks and textures while offering incredible dimension to your artwork.
Gel Medium - Mix Gel Medium with acrylic to extend paints and glazes, to increase transparency while maintaining the acrylics heavy body consistency and its ability to hold texture and peaks. Dries flexible.
Gloss Medium - Mix Gloss Medium with acrylic colors to extend paint, alter sheen and increase flow. Permanent, clear, flexible and UV resistant when dry. It dries crystal clear and glossy. Gloss Medium may also be used as a sealer, a primer or for collage work.
Matte Medium - Mix Matte Medium with acrylic colors to extend paint, alter sheen to a non-reflective surface and increase flow. Permanent wax-like finish is flexible and UV resistant when dry. Gloss Medium may also be used as a sealer, a primer or for collage work.
