M. Graham Artists' Oil Colors are made with walnut oil which makes it more brilliant and gives it the ability to retain it's clarity over time.

Oil Color made with walnut oil has been preferred by artists for centuries. It provides rich, vibrant color that is naturally more alive and brilliant. Free flowing and slower drying, M. Graham Artists' Oils enable delicate passages of finely blended color that will retain this brilliance over time. Today it is known that Renaissance masters such as Da Vinci and Dürer generally favored walnut oil over linseed oil.

Walnut Oil gives the artist greater freedom and control over their color without the addition of fillers or solvents. M. Graham Oils are made in small batches. Each color is highly saturated with most colors based on single pigments for superb clarity and maximum tinting strength
