Online Art Workshops
Cancellation/Refund Policy - By completing your purchase transaction, you agree to accept the following cancellation/refund policy: A $30 cancellation fee applies if you cancel at least 8 days in advance. Cancellation requests need to be emailed directly to edwina@cheapjoes.com. There is NO refund, for any reason, less than 8 days prior, during, or after the class. You cannot transfer to a different workshop. There are no refunds or discounts for missed sessions or no-shows. If the instructor allows the workshop to be recorded, the videos are only available to enrolled students. If you cannot attend the live sessions but want to receive the videos, please notify Edwina in advance of the workshop. No-shows, without prior notification, will not receive video access. If Cheap Joe's or the instructor cancels the class, you will receive a full refund of tuition, but not other related expenses. Please do not combine supply purchases and workshop purchases in the same order. (policy effective 11/15/2023)
In-Person Art Workshops
Cancellation Policy - By completing your registration transaction, whether online or by phone, you are agreeing to accept the following cancellation policy: Cancellation requests need to be emailed directly to meghann@cheapjoes.com. A $200 cancellation fee applies if you cancel at least 2 weeks in advance. There is NO refund for any reason if you cancel within 2 weeks prior to or during the class. Sorry, no transfers. There are no refunds for missed days, early departure, or no-shows. If Cheap Joe's or the instructor cancels the class, you will receive a full refund of tuition, but not other related expenses, lodging, or travel. For this reason, we highly recommend travelers' insurance to help protect you from any unforeseen issues.
Release Policy - By completing your registration transaction, whether online or by phone, you are agreeing to accept the following release policy:
The Participant hereby fully releases Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff, Inc. from any Liability whatsoever for any injury, accident, or claim suffered when Participant is not physically located on the property of Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff, Inc. at the Watauga County Industrial Park in Boone, North Carolina. This Release shall cover travel to the location, travel from the location, travel to a site for painting, travel to commercial or private galleries, or any group functions, or individual excursions.
Cheap Joe’s reserves the right to take and use photographs, video, and/or quotes from workshops, instructors, or participants for use in advertising or promotional materials without notice or compensation.
Please be aware that various chemicals, dyes, irritants, and other allergens may be part of the product formulas used in the workshops and general facilities at Cheap Joe’s. Cheap Joe’s is also located in a humid environment above 3000’ in elevation, and the atmosphere contains mold spores and other pollens that are indigenous to our area. It is important that you be aware of these environmental challenges, acknowledge the above potential allergens and irritants, and agree to hold Cheap Joe’s harmless for any harm or discomfort you may experience as a result of coming into contact with any of these allergens or irritants.
While masks are not required to be worn while taking a Cheap Joe's workshop, they are recommended. Cheap Joe's does follow the CDC and local guidelines for all Covid-19 health regulations. If any changes are made to local guidelines, Cheap Joe's will make the workshop participant aware via email or phone call. By registering for, traveling to, and participating in a Cheap Joe’s sponsored event, you acknowledge the risk and agree to hold Cheap Joe’s harmless for any discomfort or illness you may experience as a result of attending.
