R&F Pigment Sticks are essentially oil paint in a convenient drawing stick form, allowing artists the freedom to draw directly onto a surface without the interference of brushes, paint tubes, or solvents. Pigment Sticks can be thinned and manipulated with solvents, brushes, and palette knives, and can be layered with traditional oil paints and mediums. Blending Sticks and Blending Medium can be used to increase transparency and blend colors together on the painting. Use Pigment Sticks on any support designed for oil or encaustic painting.

Blending Stick with Drier - Blending Sticks are simply Pigment Sticks without pigment. They can be worked directly into a color to increase the color's transparency, or to blend colors together on the surface. This stick includes a cobalt drier to speed up drying time.
