    The Jefferson ready-made frame echoes the stately motifs of our country’s founding era, and also happens to be the name of Boone’s neighboring town. These solid hardwood frames are finished in Gallery Gold and White Gold, and will add a timeless, classic touch to any art gallery.

    Use these to frame canvas or add a mat and glass (sold separately) for works on paper.

    Rabbet Depth - The rabbet is the recess on the back inside edge of the frame, into which the artwork fits. To find a frame that works for you, measure the depth of your artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a rabbet depth that is, at least the same as that measured depth.
    Note - Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork about a quarter inch all the way around, so your artwork will fit securely behind the frame's molding.
