Our neighbor's basset hound remembers who has treats and who does not. This informal portrait is on 300 lb Kilimanjaro extra white, coated with mat medium. That coat of medium makes it easy to change your mind in watercolor. I use a variety of watercolor paints, and rely on American Journey particularly for both standby colors like cobalt and quinacridones plus those special mixes like Pat Dew's Coastal Blue and Mint Julep.
